Sold- WW1 British 1908 Cavalry trooper Pattern by Mole

This 1908 was made in 1915 by Mole, one of the top sword makers of the time in Britain.  It is marked GM for Glanmorgan Yeomanry, a unit that was active on the Western Front and the Middle East. It appears that this sword was repainted at some point in its life, and the leather washer rewaxed. The original tan paint can still be seen underneath the khaki green. It also has the inscribed name of A.C. Wise inside the guard. The scabbard markings are covered by paint but could be uncovered.

The sword blade is in pristine shape, and the whole sword is completely solid.
